Renato Serrano:
Renato joined the staff in October 2005. He was born in
Quito, Ecuador. He grew up in a very controlling home, and as a
teen searched for real freedom of his soul. Through tough events
and two control-Free men of God, he came to experience true
freedom on his own with Christ. He left his home country when he
heard God's call to ministry. He moved to New York with his
wife, Carla, where they spent four years doing his Master of
Divinity at Alliance Theological Seminary. During this time,
they prayed that God will give them a ministry or Church to work
with. God answered this prayer with an amazing opportunity to,
not just do ministry, but to become part of their new family:
South Shore Community Church. His dream is to share this true
freedom in Christ, and see people getting free. He loves to meet
new people, and build strong relationships. Renato also has this
dream of traveling to Ecuador, as well as worldwide equipping,
and helping leaders to listen to God's voice. He and Carla live
in the Brockton area with their two small children.
