God wants you to be involved in advancing His Kingdom.

He has chosen you to serve others.

He has given you talents and abilities and gifts for this purpose.

At SSCC we want to help you to find a place of service where you are fulfilled and make a difference

for the greatest cause on the planet - building the local church.

The only enterprise in this world that will last forever is the local church.  The only thing God will rescue from this planet are people.

God wants you to be involved in serving people and advancing his kingdom, so he can use you to rescue his prized possessions: people.

Find a place where you can serve

to make a difference,

to leave an eternal legacy.

But...

What Can I Do?

Audio Tapes/CD’s: Helping to run our duplicating machines after the service for quick copying/dispensing of sermon tapes and CD’s.

Cell Leadership: Within our cells, small groups, is where the real life of the church takes hold. The cell leader facilitates the meeting. It is primarily through cells that we fulfill Jesus' Great Commission to the Church: “Go and make disciples...” (Matthew 28:19).

Children’s Ministry: Teaching, helping and organizing our "SonShine Kids" classes on Sunday morning. More importantly, motivating children to be more like Christ.

Drama Team: Bringing drama into our services to better illustrate the driving points of the sermons.

Hospitality: Arranging and setting up for small church functions, annual baptism etc.

Kingdom Builders: Folks with skills/trades who want to be part of an organized ministry, with an emphasis toward serving those outside the church.

Kindred Hearts: An outreach support group for Mothers of Preschool aged children. Childcare is a necessary part of this group and they are always looking for volunteers.

Multiple Miracles: Helping area families, with recent multiple births, with feedings, changing diapers, and cooking meals.

Music Ministry: using your musical gifts to lead others in worship... more

Prayer Teams: prayer partners with Pastor Rob to lift him in prayer daily, intercessory prayer groups, and prayer team Sunday morning to pray over  sanctuary, and/or pray with people at the end of the Sunday service for their specific needs.

Set-up Equipment: The EVER important set-up and take-down of portable equipment on Sunday mornings.

Short Term Missions: Medical missions to Ecuador for example.

Sound/Technical: Setting up and running the sound equipment, helping with other technical needs throughout the church.

South Shore Riders: A casual motorcycle riding group with the purpose of offering riders a safe and friendly group to ride with. We welcome all types of riders and all types of bikes. "You don't have to ride alone!" www.southshoreriders.com

Teen Ministry: Teen cell leadership,  providing transportation and/or attending events.

Twenty-Somethings: This outreach ministry seeks folks in their twenties gifted in all areas including music, teaching, hospitality, administration, sound/technical, and computer web support.

Video Team: Filming the Sunday services, choosing/creating movies to further illustrate the main points of the sermon and helping with other video projects.

Welcome Team, Ushers: Welcoming and assisting those who attend our Sunday morning worship services.

Windows of Faith: organizing and helping with our women’s outreach ministry.
