The South Shore Community Church Worship Team has been a very important part of our Church from it's founding in 1995. We gladly lead the congregation every Sunday in singing songs of contemporary praise to our Lord, Jesus. Thankful for our new life in Him and grateful for our family and friends, we are greatly honored to lead the Church in glorifying our God through song. Our purpose is to help others draw closer to the risen Christ.

We are a closely knit group of regular "everyday" people. Our lives have all been, and continue to be, drastically changed, time and time again, by Jesus and His loving grace. Our practice nights are often saturated by times of prayer for our group, for the Church body, for it's leaders, and for the blessing of Christ's grace to rain down onto those who have yet put their trust in Christ as Lord and King of their lives. Our complete joy derives from seeing hearts being touched, lives being changed and "captives" being set free from the bonds of sin. We are constantly overwhelmed by the sight of people being swept away in the love and grace that is only found in our risen Savior, Jesus. We seek to lead through the leadings and empowerment of the Holy Spirit, because apart from Him we can do nothing of eternal value. He is our Rock, our Fortress, and we are just excited to be a part of His business, the business of redeeming lives.
